9-5 environment, very defined job scope. Many B and C players, who often seem to be there primarily for the paycheck. Don't get me wrong - people are generally nice, just not really interested in making a difference. Organization is incredibly siloed. People can be pretty territorial. Not a very strong sense of common mission. Left arm doesn't know what right arm is doing. Not a place that gives good people a huge incentive to give their best - kind of hard to do that when so many people who've been there for over 10 years are just drifting along.
