Pros

The pay is good, benefits could be better.

Cons

The culture is odd. Leadership don’t communicate with team, and the only communication is via email or teams. No 1:1 or stand ups. People in tier two are rude when asking for help. I was laid off on a random day. Apparently lay offs have been happening since 2025, and it’s constantly happening for the past 10 years. They sure as hell kept it a secret. It’s an odd company, product is and software is outdated. Information that youll need to help a customer won’t be documented, you’ll literally have to ask someone because it’s intellectual property. You can tell no investment is put back in the company, everything and everyone is outdated

Pros

Competitive pay and benefits (if that outweighs a toxic culture for you. My time at CDK has shown me what good leadership does NOT look like.

Cons

Leadership and management culture were the biggest issues. Poor managers are protected and good employees are left carrying the consequences. There is a strong culture of micromanagement, shifting expectations, and documentation over development. Honest feedback wasn't valued and accountability seemed to stop at management. Over time I watched team morale suffer, trust disappearing, and fellow talented employees leaving in sake of their sanity.
