Pros
Collaboration is evident within my department. The location is very convenient to transportation and restaurants. The office is a nice, open work environment with beautiful views of Puget Sound. Stability backed by parent company ADP. Lots of good, fun people around who like to laugh and enjoy themselves while they work. Ideas are encouraged but not always supported. Free Transit passes and Cheer 30 buffet on Fridays. Community involvement and support of non profit organizations is encouraged.
Cons
Upper management has an air of superiority and is a bit out of touch with their workers. Lots of talk about doing things that either don't happen or happen last minute, causing people to rush their work and add to the stress level. Not enough people to do the work, lots of open headcount. People get promoted based on their length of employment rather than their actual skills and knowledge. Departments are segmented and work in silos. HR is virtually nonexistent. They don't provide any type of training or onboarding. ADP system is hard to navigate.
