Work life balance was good in our department. My leadership was good both at my manager and director level but I was one of the lucky ones.
Cons
Overall leadership was terrible. Many of them should never have been in any kind of leadership role. There was favoritism everywhere. People would get laid off because their role was ‘eliminated’ only to have the exact role suggested to them by sites like Glassdoor a week later. Investors need to keep an eye on this CEO and his cronies. If the bottom line looks good it is because they had a round of layoffs that quarter. They aren’t making money they are cutting expenses. Cutting expenses by cutting jobs will only get you so far. The activists investors that came in a few years ago would have been better off taking over the company and selling off the parts. Maybe they still will. The hype around the spinoff from ADP was that they wanted to focus on core competencies. The truth is they were cutting dead weight.
