The Mission is great and most non-management follow it passionately. Associates on the floor are motivated and go above their job requirements for the children.
Cons
Want to sue? Work here. Many lawsuits from HR errors. Worst HR Department for the past couple of years. HR management clearly does not have the skills to have any type of relationships with humans. They are not easy to be contacted and have behind a closed locked door and a perky receptionist to keep you out. Cold, uncaring hew hire orientations start your path. Even the volunteers are misused as labor workers and paper pushers under the incompetent leadership of the director. Managers at CHOC are weak and pompous. They take advantage supply & demand: dedicated good-willed workforce that cares for children will never run out and thus they do not care much about them.
