      Pros

      Excellent nursing care. The people closest to the patients truly embody the mission/vision/values. Other pediatric services are fantastic, especially child life.

      Cons

      Executive Management bred leaders who have completely lost their way. They focused on ratings without ever noticing what was happening at the level of patient care. These poorly envisioned leaders bought into expensive consultant "gimmicks" and unnatural slogans, without a deeper understanding that staff was already providing amazing family centered care. Dollar and illusory accolade driven, rather than interested in how their patients, families and employees "associates" truly feel about CHOC.

      Pros

      Good crew to work with on the day to day. Good teamwork between nurses.

      Cons

      Upper leadership doesn't seem to know their employees or what's important for them. They are so focused on being a "premier" destination for pediatric health, but forget that the nurses are the backbone and need to be respected and seen.
