Pros
--For a non-profit, it has pretty good benefits. What they can't give you in salary they make up for with benefits --Projects are interesting, work in some of the most challenging countries in the world --Employee development opportunities through various trainings, though there could be more of this --Good opinion of upper management, especially since they have had to make some tough decisions the past few years. Internal issues get resolved with the higher-ups
Cons
--Team dynamics really vary from team to team. Other colleagues don't have a great team dynamic, and they feel stuck --It takes FOREVER to make decisions in this organization. Possibly because people are so busy. But CRDF Global will make a committee to talk about an issue, and then getting action items done is like pulling teeth. --Annual pay increases are dismal. But there is usually a bonus to try to make up for it.
