Pros
Most of the people doing the work are wonderful to work with and rally together to meet the unrealistic timelines that are cascaded down. Some benefits are really nice like gym, cell phone, and two shutdowns. HR seems to genuinely care about feedback they receive and do their best to promote action where they can.
Cons
I can’t event count how many large reorganizations have occurred and the myriad of leadership changes that have occurred in the last few years. There is also a really high turnover rate which halts the growth/promotions of downstream employees. The titles across groups and even without groups are wildly inconsistent and it’s practically impossible to get a promotion unless you are favored by senior leadership (favorites are also very common and have any and all “rules” bent for them). The lack of work life balance has drastically changed as well. The bottom line for leadership is meeting timelines and they don’t care how this is achieved, the impact to product quality or how it impacts employees. This feedback has been provided consistently to leadership with no changes in behavior.
