Pros
Healthy work environment overall with a strong culture of support. Good people who are vested into improving the lives of the people in the community. Flexibility with schedules, career opportunity and trainings.
Cons
Pay is below average. Like with most companies, what the headquarter thinks looks good on paper with regards to program goals, processes, etc... is not really transferrable or practical to the real work that is expected and done in the programs. Staffing / screening process for new hires has gotten better but still needs to improve. The lack of space for the staff at each program/facility. Without adequate offices, the challenges of cultivating an environment that promotes professionalism among the staff, is greatly compromised.
