Pros

Flexible work schedule. Hybrid/remote work locations. Often operationally sound, with at least a passable emphasis on continuous improvement. Usually a relaxed work environment, but not always.

Cons

Management has a 'chip on their shoulder', and seems to resent any challenges. Management gaslighting and misrepresentation of facts as they relate to certain events. 'Promotion' from contract to perm includes a substantial pay cut that is not adequately offset by benefits gains. And, once promoted, pay increases for permanent employees are meager at best. Contractors are often treated as 2nd class citizens. Preferential treatment for some employees. Terminations very numerous, many to loyal employees with years of service, with no notice. Very questionable posture towards employees who exercise their right to take AZ sick pay - some managers are seemingly unaware of, or will not share, well-known HR compliance guidelines. Misogyny on the part of some employees sometimes tolerated or ignored. Management refuses to confront some personnel issues as they relate to inter-employee issues, shirking their duty as managers and leaving it to the employee to resolve matters.
