Pros

I have never experienced any incidents of "power trips" or egotism at this casino. Upper management and human resources department treat employee's really good. After 6 months of employment they allow you to transfer to a different property. There are opportunities to reach promotions at this casino. This casino is very beautiful.

Cons

The toke rate is $9-$11 / hour. Maryland Live Casino is 10 minutes away and they are getting most of the business in Maryland. The casino is in a rough neighborhood and it discourages high limit players from wanting to gamble here. Very "undesirable" clientele. Only 2 flooring days per week because they have so many dual rates. A lot of dead games. EDR (Lunch room) is hit or miss. $3 per plate. There have been some "incidents" pertaining to cooks not washing their hands in the bathroom.

Pros

Peers and teammates are supportive of each other. For a digital organization, the pay was very good but I believe they've significantly reduced salaries. Some of the managers were very good.

Cons

The Caesars Digital team operated in a flat organization, where some GMs were trying to actively manage teams of 75-150 individuals. Career growth is almost non-existent as a result. C-suite management was non-existent and came from finance or hospitality backgrounds. Org success was purely tied to annual EBITDA and without understanding of how a digital/engineering organization should be run, resulting in disconnected employees (most of whom were remote), lack of scalable structure, and zero oversight.
