Experience depends on Department - Anonymous employee CalOptima Employee Review

If you are the same ethnicity as your supervisor/manager, then you can get away with ANYTHING (surf the web/Amazon/ESPN all day). Provider offices and other departments can document how rude you are and difficult to work with, and if you are the same ethnicity, you get away with it. The department I am currently in has had 100% turnover in the span of two years, and CalOptima has done nothing about the supervisor/manager/director. On the other hand, some departments haven't had a job opening in over 3 years because their supervisor/manager/director are awesome! Still, I would not recommend CalOptima.
