California State Water Resources Control Board

Is this your company?

Highly political with tons of fraud waste and abuse. Focused on tin god syndrome than protecting the public. - Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) California State Water Resources Control Board Employee Review

Pros

Stable pay, newer building, freshly painted offices

Cons

Pushing social justice programs for the environment, while raising the fees and fines on the users of the water. Management will spend hours of taxpayer funded time to talk politics in technical meetings. This is a place that has a massive budget and produces so little return to the people of the state. As far as fraud waste and abuse, one needs to look no further than the procurements and actual uses of the equipment over the last few years. Unused vehicles everywhere, brand new equipment sitting on the shelves, and unaccounted for office inventory laid out for a first come first serve basis to take home to their kids.
