Corrupt Hiring Practices - Senior Engineering Geologist California State Water Resources Control Board Employee Review

Hiring is corrupt with rampant discrimination and cronyism at the State Water Board and Regional Boards. In most cases, the least qualified candidate is hired over older and vastly more experienced and knowledgeable candidates. Supervisors, managers, and personnel staff consistently fail to follow labor laws and CalHR hiring policies. While top management and its counsel are informed and aware of these issues, nothing is done to stop it. Many discrimination lawsuits and EEO complaints have been filed against this public agency.
