Pros

decent insurance, decent PTO bank, annual bonus, good coworkers, excellent cafeteria with home made organic choices, close walk to PSU, public transit, etc.

Cons

equal pay doesn't exist here... men get paid MUCH more money for the same job than women do, paying to park in downtown Portland is $300/mo with no assistance/reimbursement, benefits are VERY expensive (about 1/2 my check for my benefits package for family coverage) and it's not worth what i pay for it.

Thank you for your thoughts on your experience at Cambia. Our dedication to our Cause and focus on transforming health care creates a special workplace, and I'm glad that you have also been enjoying the employee benefits (and great food). I regret, however, that you feel pay is unfair. We are conscientious and rigorous in reviewing pay, taking into account many factors such as experience, education, skill level and performance. Our compensation team also conducts regular market reviews on fair pay. I would be happy to talk to you more to learn about your concerns. Pros

Some of the smartest bright-minded people in IT work there, or used to. Decent pay and benefits.

Cons

The company appears to be in a constant state of reorganization, creating ongoing uncertainty about job security and contributing to low employee morale. This lack of stability has led to confusion, shifting priorities, and an overall lack of focus, which is reflected in the high turnover currently seen within the IT organization. This is especially disappointing because the company was once known for attracting and retaining IT professionals who built long, successful careers there. Leadership appears to lack a clear, unified vision, and that disconnect starts at the highest levels of the organization. Compared with the previous CEO, who despite his shortcomings was widely respected and viewed as an approachable leader, the current leadership feels much more removed from employees. There was once a stronger sense that executives understood and were connected to the day-to-day experiences of the workforce. Today, that connection feels significantly diminished, leaving many employees with the impression of a growing divide between the C-suite and the people doing the work. Honestly, it's quite sad what has happened to Cambia.
