Pros
The CEO and Management team lead by example and care about the employee and member experience. They read every comment employees submit on employee engagement surveys and they are responsive in making changes that improve the organization.
Cons
A recent trend is that some back office department roles now require college degrees, when they previously did not. This can be a glass ceiling for some internal candidates who were previously told that they can work their way up in the organization without pursuing formal education. To be fair, Capital does offer some tuition reimbursement and this trend has not affected most back office roles.
