Pros
The company is very thoughtful when making decisions, every department chips in its thoughts and predictions on big changes. CaptivateIQ is willing to discard or postpone ideas and projects if their predicted outcome doesn't look ideal, giving us a clear view of where we're heading. Contrary to other companies I'd worked for, where features are being constantly thrown at the market to see what sticks, CIQ values quality delivered over quantity. To me, this translates into mental peace as I know that what I'm doing today will be valued and appreciated by the market (our clients) and not simply discarded due to the lack of usage or poor planning.
Cons
Sometimes development can feel slow or frustrating, more than once I've had to wait for hours or even days for multiple departments to agree upon a text or feature behavior, to then implement it in 1 minute; in the meantime, I have to juggle with context switching and go back to said task once there's a resolution.
