Pros

Great benefits, really great coworkers/ kind people, incentive plan was OK. Enablement and HR were lovely teams to work alongside.

Cons

Nearly 50% of leadership and all BDRs either quit or were fired in the past 6 months. Very toxic culture in the BDR org (they PIP like crazy and treat you as a cog in the machine, not a human). Leadership believed more dialing would result in the team hitting their quota - this product is more of a nice to have and the ICP is really hard to sell into. It’s also a technical product with a lot of competition. There’s really no transparency in the company and room for BDRs to grow is extremely limited (only 3 BDRs have been promoted in the past 2 years and they were in the same role for multiple years with promises of promotions but lack of opportunities). I’ve never been at a company with such low morale in their BDRs - extreme micromanagement and unrealistic expectations. I wouldn’t recommend anyone looking to become a BDR to work here. It left me feeling depleted and undervalued.

Pros

All that remains is the quality of the coworkers.

Cons

Culture has gone absolutely into the gutters. Leadership struggles to make quality decisions. Lay off after lay off. No raises going into the new fiscal year. I have very little faith in the company’s ability to operate in the long term.

Pros

The cross-collaboration is great - your teammates want to see and help you succeed. You have the ability to build processes (also a con as there's a lot not built out optimally).

Cons

Management is less experienced with little diversity. Would prefer to see more women and POC in leadership roles. Pay is decent but not as competitive as other start-ups - also, this year's raises were very disappointing (and employees were not communicated about this ahead of time - even if you receive ratings exceeding expectations, it's not valued so why keep it up?). CSMs are asked to do a lot more than expected - the role has evolved very quickly as it now includes project management. You're also given asks from various departments to email your customers almost weekly, which will likely decrease their interest in opening your emails in the future. Work/life balance gets challenging in busier times, especially Q1 and Q4.
