Culture is Changing... Not Sure if for the Better. - Operations Manager CareSource Employee Review

Pros

The people are all generally nice from what I have seen. The work/life balance is pretty good too. No late evenings yet. Although that varies based on where you land because I have heard some teams staying late to implement a new clinical system by some arbitrary date. There is an on-site cafeteria, gym, and the benefits are competitive to what you'll find elsewhere in the area.

Cons

The culture has changed since Pam(founding CEO) left. Everything we do now centered around reporting and have to report everything into the ServiceNow ticket system. It feel like executive are propping us up to be sold at some point but before that can happen they have to get expenses way down. One way that is being chased is offshoring a lot of employees soon after they randomize the test data. I never thought a Medicaid program could do that but you wait and see. The current CEO just keeps saying how "excited" he is over and over during his speeches and it is uninspiring. No one buys it. Lots of employees have already leaved to be proactive in their careers because many see CS as a sinking ship.

- Extreme focus on productivity metrics created constant pressure and an unsustainable pace - Expected to carry full implementation projects alone without adequate support or realistic timelines - Workload and expectations were excessive, leading to chronic stress and burnout - The environment took a serious toll on my mental and physical health, and I continue to deal with the lasting effects of that strain - Organizational priorities consistently favored output over employee well\-being, with little meaningful support to offset the demands - Unexpected terminations occurred within clinical teams, including among long\-term employees, contributing to a sense of instability and lack of job security
