Pros

Serving the underserved (Medicaid Members) I never knew very much about Medicaid until I started working at CareSource. It allowed me to see some of the pain around the underserved and lower income people in our country.

Cons

I really wish that CareSource lived by its motto, “healthcare with heart.” I have never seen a company where so many directors are hired and I paid over six figures so quickly. This has been going on, ever since our former CEO retired. There aren’t enough “workers“ to do the work.

Pros

401k match, pto, remote work

Cons

- Extreme focus on productivity metrics created constant pressure and an unsustainable pace - Expected to carry full implementation projects alone without adequate support or realistic timelines - Workload and expectations were excessive, leading to chronic stress and burnout - The environment took a serious toll on my mental and physical health, and I continue to deal with the lasting effects of that strain - Organizational priorities consistently favored output over employee well\-being, with little meaningful support to offset the demands - Unexpected terminations occurred within clinical teams, including among long\-term employees, contributing to a sense of instability and lack of job security
