Pros
CEMC is a well respected, professional organization that values its employees, patients, customers and other community partners. Pay is competitive for the most part and the benefits are good for the area. As an organization, they genuinely care about the quality of care they provide.
Cons
Employees transferring from one dept to another are penalized. They must start at the low end of the pay scale if the rate for the new position is higher. For example, it is not uncommon for a current employee to make a few dollars less per hour than an outside hire with comparable experience. There are some departments where the culture is such that new hires are treated poorly and pushed out by long term peers.
