Pros

Easy place to land a job. The screening process is made to look rigorous, but it's just long and designed more so for you to interview them and verify how much you're willing to sacrifice for a job. My co-workers that were also hired on as sales associates were awesome, and had great personalities as well. Its also a good quick filler to have a job while using field time to look for another job. There are also a few individuals every now and then that realize the scheme, and are willing to exploit others for personal growth. As a return, they find a good fit with CBeyond and are given opportunities to move and advance as the organization grows.

Cons

The compensation plan is not explained as forthrightly as it should be. Because of the economy and because of the slow reimbursement of expenses and commissions, desperate recent college grads and unemployed young adults are taken advantage of as the company manipulates their efforts as mostly a direct source of advertising, under the guise of outside b2b sales. Those who enter the sales associate role with some experience realize the mistreatment earlier, and end up quitting or using field time to interview and find another job. Those who are too naive stick it out to be beaten on for months longer, and once they build up some decent resume filling work experience, they finally just straight up quit and look for another job. This organization is almost more like a pyramid scheme, never fully paying off the commissions that they promise, and never in the appropriate time frame.

Pros

It wouldn't allow me to put my actual last year (2012) but during my 2 year employment, I made great money. I made president's club both years and regular saw 7K checks with some topping 10K. I used to win nice watches, luxury sunglasses, skydiving trips, box seats at Lakers games, box seating at really cool concerts, etc.

Cons

LONG hours...I would arrive at 7am for the morning meeting. we would then have team meeting at 8am and we would hit the road at 9am. We wouldn't get back until 5:30-6:00pm BUT nobody complained because we were paid for it. Nobody cared what gas prices were because we were more than compensated (I forgot to mention Dom, the big boss, would but gas cards and hand those out just because you had a nice suit on. Dude was such a good leader....eveyone wanted to do good for Dom. Why? I/ couldn't explain it...ther than he knew how to lead and that involves getting people to buy into your plan. We did. And Dom had that division leading the company each and every month. Two of the best years of my career and it happened in the very beginning. I will always miss my time here. what a con. lol. it was a great job
