Pros
Co workers were really nice and helpful
Cons
I was hired and trained to work on a specific team that was aligned to my degree and experience. I had a Manager and a set schedule for when I arrive and leave work. I went away on vacation, that was planned prior to me accepting the position, when I returned I was blindly placed on the call center, with a new schedule and a different manager who never interacted with me or assisted me with anything. I had no knowledge about working the phones and when I contacted the director regarding this unprofessional transition, she told me she apologize and forgot to tell me their request for a new intake hire did not get approved. I’m sure she knew this well before I was hired. I put in my 4 weeks notice, after the new manager tried to scold me for not answering enough phone calls and doing enough faxes even though i was never trained or signed up to do it. Then the director tried to get me to submit a 2 weeks notice and said a 4 weeks notice wasn’t allowed. After contacting HR and Ethics, she switched up her tune. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. If you needed staff for intake then that’s what needs to be presented to candidates that are applying. Don’t wait until they accept a different position to try to lure them on the intake team and label it as “business needs”.
