Pros

They hire incredibly inexperienced people because they have to. No one else would work for them. I've seen them fire 15+ year veterans because they were critical of the structure. They only hire foreigners who need sponsorship so they can over work and dangle a green card over them retain their employees. This means people are incredibly in experienced and frequently fired. So upside is better chance if you need sponsorship.

Cons

Awful business practices, where to even start? You WILL work late nights and weekends, NO MATTER THE ROLE. Management actually prides themselves on over working people. They scurt around the lettering of the law and will try to punish you for taking vacation to the extent they still have legal plausible deniability. Compensation is really not good for the time they make you work. Terrible culture of over working people and removing them before stock options kick in. Company will never go public and the option require them to go public before receiving any RSUs. Fundamentally need to fix their structure, they are paying for massive mistakes they made when their company was only 10-20 ppl. Management is also incredibly inexperienced which mean they are short sighted and dont understand how to run large teams. Look at their reputation in the crypto market. Their biggest customer is binance(who just got indited). Then cost millions of dollars stolen because they didn't do anything to provide more security for their customers. And then try to sweep it under the rug by changing risk score after scams happen. If they believed in their own service they would provide insurance on it but they don't.

Pros

It’s a remote company so there’s a lot of flexibility, which is nice. But sometimes it can feel a bit disconnected. Lately though, management seems to be trying more to help people feel connected. They’ve been pretty generous about supporting meetups, which helps a lot. Things weren’t always smooth, but you can tell they’re working on it.

Cons

As with many remote companies, staying fully in sync can be a bit tricky at times.
