Pros

Keep up with style trends. Nice place to work. Can get time off if you put in soon enough so pretty flexible.

Cons

Retail hours are not for everyone because it is a commission based position it is competitive and not always fair.

Pros

Good employee discount. Most of the staff and patrons are super nice.

Cons

Manager and District Manager control the work environment. We had a good Mgr and an awesome male DSM in the past. They both moved on. Current manager is only concerned about working her way up in the company. She works very few evenings. District Manager is invisible except sending daily sales pushes. She has visited the store once in 3 years and that was to see the manager. She has no time to get to know or speak to anyone else. That is true for all the stores in her district. Never communicates with anyone and treats ideas, questions, or issues as if they are irrelevant and beneath her to acknowledge. If there is a problem employees are instructed to never notify her. Pay is bad. Making a dollar more after 6 plus years with the company and that is only because they raised the minimum wage. Employees are encouraged to not offer customer discounts if the price online is better. Some of the staff would offer it to high volume customers but that is unfair. Much has changed since Chicos Fas was once a customer focused boutique. And most of it is due to bad middle and upper management. If you live on the Florida gulf coast, I would look somewhere else for a part time sales position.
