Pros

Liked the family clientele and demographics, Very close to home.

Cons

Low pay increases over the years. Whatever the Director says, goes, even if totally wrong. A lot of time required off the clock to do job properly and effeciently. Extremely little verbal praise or "Hey, you did good on that",etc. Very, very hard to get time off needed for Dr.s appointments, etc. A LOT of black out time for days off and vacations.

Pros

Learning Care is a company where you can grow.I received my CDA and then was able to take and complete the Master Teacher Program as well. I have been with the company 20 years and have worked my way up from Infant Teacher to Assistant Director.

Cons

Although they have gotten better with this, But we are open most holidays. Sometimes it seems like we can use a little break here and there. Especially around the Winter holidays when we are expected to be here always. A little more time off, and paid time would be good.

Pros

I was hired as a Lead Preschool Teacher, but was verbally promoted to Pre-Kindergarten teacher.

Cons

I thought I was the Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, but just to find out she hired a new Pre-Kindergarten teacher, and inform the parents on Sprout About bulletin. This was very unprofessional. It actually hurt my feelings. I was rehired, and was excited to finally get the job I been wanting. Just for someone younger and only have 8 years experience to get it. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching for 16 years..
