Pros

I haven't been here long, but I can already confidently say that joining Chorus was the best decision I ever made--this is one of those rocketships that people spend their entire careers trying to find. (Like, my offer letter literally outlined our business plan, and we are going places FAST.) People - Everyone here knows that we are building something great, and we act like it. The level of talent is incredible - you won't find a gathering of more intelligent, confident, or considerate people anywhere. Every person we bring on board must check three simple boxes; we believe that: 1) they are someone we would love to work with, 2) they are world-class in their domain, and 3) they will make immediate and lasting contributions to Chorus' success. Company Culture / Benefits - Chorus values each and every one of its employees, and it shows. In the Boston office, we get free lunch three times a week plus commuter benefits. Company kickoff is in London every year (which was a total blast!), we have a 4% 401k match, and unlimited PTO. Our culture is also incredibly transparent--we pride ourselves on what we call being "courageously candid", and that pervades our culture, which is refreshing coming from other orgs that had a total lack of transparency. Location - The main hub here is in a WeWork, which I thought would be a con, but it's been nothing but positive. Free cold brew, kombucha, and beer all on tap, free flavored water, and there are constantly all sorts of community events, usually with free food. Best of all, I can bring my dog to work with me. Remote-friendly - Work /life balance is hugely important to Chorus, and being remote-friendly is part of that.

Cons

We have the growing pains that every startup experiences, but issues are always fixed quickly.

Pros

Chorus has an inclusive, collaborative culture. The company is intentional and focused on DEI and provides ample educational opportunities (e.g. speakers, workshops, etc.). From a collaboration perspective, everyone is willing to help and collaborate on projects and initiatives. The leadership team is also incredibly supportive and creates an environment that trusts employees to be creative and grow in their roles.

Cons

Typical growing pains in a fast-paced environment. There are a lot of processes and structure to build, so work/life balance can be tricky.

Pros

1. I really enjoy working with the team here. Everyone is always willing to help out and there's a true team-selling mentality. The leadership genuinely cares about our success and our impact on the business. I've been really impressed with how thoughtful / humble Jim (CEO) and Thiago (CRO) are, and how much they care (both personally and professionally). They have been very supportive with the various social issues going on as well, and we even have a special group that focuses on diversity & inclusion. As for my immediate team, Randy (VP of Sales) and Devin (Corporate Sales Manager) are always there for us whether it's coaching us on our selling skills or strategizing together to win deals. They lead with insight and a collaborative mindset, which I really appreciate. 2. This is an exciting space to be a part of. CI tool is quickly becoming a must-have for all revenue teams and Chorus is well-positioned to capitalized on the opportunity. I can't imagine any revenue teams doing their job without a CI tool.

Cons

As we are growing fast and constantly adding new team members, there are certain process-related challenges. Having just onboarded a few months ago, I wish it could be a bit more structured with additional learning opportunities. The team is seeing this gap and is addressing it right now, so I'm excited to see how the onboarding program will shape up. Our leadership has implemented an Onboarding Advisory Board to tackle this, which I'm excited to be a part of.
