Pros

Set own schedule, can take time off, not micro managed.

Cons

The hourly rate including gas is not sufficient for the work you do which includes phone calls, documentation, etc. Other companies that are fee for service such as big Bear pay minimum $34.00 per hour. We don't get paid for group supervision. The insurance we must keep on our vehicles is extremely high, which works out to cut into our hourly rate. PTO accumulated is minimal. As of january, we must see a mandatory of 100 clients per month, whereas when I was hired (a few weeks before the change) it was only 80 and that's why I agreed to take the job as I has a set plan in place to undertake higher education while working. They changed the bonuses which is terrible. So now we must work even more to get more and chrysalis talks comstantly about doing self care, but how can you when you have to meet these quotas?? When your year is up they "promote You" to lead therapist for line $1.00-1.50 more per hour in an effort to keep you on. They need to give you more than that. Also, instead of adding clients to your caseload that are all over the place have a set intake person who zones the zip codes and then assign them according to each therapist who takes those zip codes instead of adding randomly.

Chrysalis Health Response

Thank you for your feedback Former Outpatient Therapist in Tampa. I am sorry to read that you did not enjoy your experience working for Chrysalis Health. In some areas of Florida, such as the Greater Tampa area there may be larger zones for clients, however we are continuously decreasing the size of all zones across the state in an effort to decrease drive time. Our Fee For Services rate has been gradually increased and a new bonus structure is in place. The Lead Therapist promotion for those eligible has always be an increase of $2.50 to the FFS rate. We hope you found an employer that makes you happy and fits your needs better, if not consider checking Chrysalis Health out again. Thank you for your feedback!

Pros

Not many anymore, basically soul sucking

Cons

I apply to jobs everyday and I encourage my team to do the same. Chrysalis Health has totally changed. The HR Department is completely toxic. The manner in which goals are placed on our team is toxic. The politics and favoritism is toxic.
