Pros

Flexibility No micromanaging Supportive Supervisor (mine at least) Helpful Trainings Free clinical supervision for those seeking licensure. (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) Great way for new clinicians to get experience and licensed. Not stuck in an office all day.

Cons

-Fee for service- Clients cancel, get sick, etc, you won't be paid. -A lot of time spent driving. -Monthly billing unit requirement is high. (100 hrs) -I've heard of clients saying they were only seen for 20-30 minutes with prior Therapist when the billing is for 1 hour. -A lot of accompanying work that you are not compensated for, such as calling, scheduling, paperwork/documentation, talking with other providers, meeting with supervisor. -You have to use your own phone/data/minutes/gps -You have to use your own internet -Wear and tear on your car. -No stability in pay when new to the company.

Chrysalis Health Response

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review current Outpatient Therapist in Fort Lauderdale. We greatly appreciate it and are thrilled that your experience with us has been mostly positive. We love being able to provide free clinical supervision for those seeking licensure. You're right, unfortunately pay in this field is not the highest and to respond to this need we recently implemented additional pay and bonus structures to our Therapist and Targeted Case Management positions including additional choices to lower the cost of benefit offerings. We do provide a portion of your pay towards reimbursement for your personal phone and car use. Thank you for your contributions to Chrysalis Health, our clients and community! CHRO

Pros

Not many anymore, basically soul sucking

Cons

I apply to jobs everyday and I encourage my team to do the same. Chrysalis Health has totally changed. The HR Department is completely toxic. The manner in which goals are placed on our team is toxic. The politics and favoritism is toxic.
