Pros
Allegedly flexible schedule Working with clients Getting the hours for licensure without a struggle Paid licensure supervision
Cons
Your schedule is not as flexible as they promote. Either way, you will be working from 10am-8pm Monday-Friday. During the day, you will driving to at least five different schools, and in the evenings, you will be on Zoom or people's homes. There is no bonuses. Bonuses are only given if you reach unattainable goals that THEY have set. The tiny PTO that is given is encouraged to boost your paycheck, when hours will be low. They say this is a benefit, but what they are really saying is, "we don't want you to self care, we don't want you to take any time off." You will get a lot of pressure from management (who I am sure is getting pressure from their boss) about needing to maintain your hours. They do not care if you burn out. This company is designed and benefits from burn out. HEAVEN FORBID, you get sick and need to use PTO before summer. Your paycheck is screwed, and it will count against you and your hours and your performance stats. So, don't get sick at these school shaped petri dishes. Working here is like "paying your dues" now to be successful later. It's terrible, but practical.
