Pros
* The company I am contracted to is excellent. I work with smart, caring people, in a collaborative environment, on interesting projects.
Cons
* CIBER was an excellent company to work for. Very responsive, great benefits, good people to work with. HTC Global, its current owner, removed all incentives, and ignores its employees. * Very little PTO. Of the scant PTO you are allotted, you are expected to take all National Holidays, and any other days your client may close. If you work in the US, that means ~8 days of your PTO is used, before you even begin the year. * Since my CIBER supervisor left (I don't know whether they left, or were laid off when HTC purchased the company), I have received zero professional feedback. Only once have I heard from my "supervisor," via a group email, to introduce themselves. * I am not expecting any kind of performance review, or raise. Bonuses are nonexistent (the bonus I was promised by CIBER never materialized, once we were purchased by HTC). * 401K match sounds promising, but the cap on that match is a pittance.
