Pros
Worked from home (somewhat) flexible hours...they say they're flexible but you have to be available from 8-5 for the client. Casual dress Work life balance (this is something that is falsely promoted by Ciber) was not as promised I was working anywhere from 12-15 hr days then being penalized for being hospitalized (due to chronic conditions) with only missing one day of work. Worked Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and New Years Day. Paid overtime.
Cons
No stream line communication from management on the consulting side vs. management from the client side. Like walking a tight rope. At any time you can be "released" from a project without a reason as to why (basically laid off). So not a lot of stability. The learning curve is large, cannot ask the client too many questions but yet no one on the consulting side to go to for support. Very frustrating place to work.
