Pros

Pays well - they overpay in salary due to limited to no bonus potentials. Remote workforce - can work from the beach if you want

Cons

Leadership - Senior leadership is a revolving door of personality disorders. Two CEOs in as many years, neither have had a real sense of the business or where world is going, just rehashing their past lives in Cognizant or similar, no new ideas or inspiration. Senior Leadership - Trying to build a new Cognizant without the skills, budget, customer base, or knowledge in how to do it the right way. They think contracts will land by word of mouth and because they worked at Cognizant in past or that people will sign agreements without guaranteed delivery. Sales focus - there is no sales focus or support for field sales beyond the UK office, USA sales team is treated like an island of misfit toys left to fend for themselves under absentee leadership whom has no real vision or ability to drive deals. Leaders spend more time confusing details and trying to steal deal credit for self-preservation in view of the board. They are continuously re-organizing sales and supporting teams.

Pros

Considering all my previous experiences, I would say that Ciklum is a very decent employer. Firstly, the vibe here is all about maturity and openness. It's like we're all part of this big, respectful team. Secondly, it is truly a global company where you cooperate with different people from around the globe. Still, Ciklum provides people with an opportunity to work remotely, making work life more flexible and agile. I guess some people may not grasp the strategic statements, since Ciklum is an outsourcing company. But if you want to listen and understand, then you will. I appreciate the openness when it comes to the strategy for this year. And it's really cool to see that the employer brings these statements to life – recently, Ciklum announced the acquisition in the USA to further grow in this market. And I think they really analyzed their clients’ experiences, started to sign some industry leaders' logos, and enhanced the transparency of delivery for clients through new digital tools. Some obvious stuff but still worth mentioning: Ciklum provides many opportunities for personal development, so if you want to boost your expertise, you will find ways to do so. Starting from certifications and managerial programs to participation in industrial events. Ciklum values proactive talents, so if you are ready to share your knowledge with the world, you can be sure that they will find opportunities for you and help make your presentation at a decent level. But I guess the most important thing for me is Ciklum’s culture and people overall: they are friendly, open-minded, and full of energy to do great things. It’s really important to feel this spirit.
