Pros
Greats collaborative teams with great team members and management, hourly pay (only work 40 hours/week and that's it), 12 days of PTO, get to work with cool new tech, decent insurance prices, 2 days WFH a week, relaxed work atmosphere, flexible work times to account for appointments, great starting pay for no experience, fantastic entry level position for new grads to get software engineering experience.
Cons
Work several federal holidays, no upward movement within the company, very little job security (can be laid off the day of with little to no notice), pay increase freezes for over a year, working as a contractor which can sometimes make you feel like a lower-class employee, originally had 4 days WFH a week, not paid enough to even come close to buying a small home in this HCOL area
