Pros

Very flexible working culture (unlimited PTO, flexible schedule, fully remote. Some great data assets, and wonderful people if you are on the right team.

Cons

Tech stack is a disaster of smoke and mirrors led by toxic leadership. This group is also responsible for product, which means the client discovery process is virtually non-existent. The new CEO has good intentions, but it is clear he hasn't been able to bring the change needed. There is still potential with the data assets, but the very poor technology leads to overpromising and underdelivering which is very uncomfortable if you are in a commercial role. Add to that unrealistic budgets and a cycle of constant change and layoffs, it is not a fun place to be right now.

Pros

Completely remote work. That's about the only pro.

Cons

Let's start with the IT department. A ticket goes in and it's easily ignored for 24 hours. And when you do get a response from IT it will take days, weeks for a computer issue to get resolved. All while your boss and clients are breathing down your neck to meet a deadline but you can't because IT won't fix your computer problems. How the IT department at Circana hasn't completely gotten fired and replaced is beyond me. We hear constantly from senior leadership - speed! Efficiency! - yet can't do that when computers don't work. The work itself: Mind numbingly boring. Circana tries desperately to be consultative and provide insights but they are so far from doing so. Impossible to make any kind of meaningful changes at the company b/c the culture is so slow and plodding. Constant org changes by a bunch of higher-ups who don't know what they are doing. Justify the changes with slogans and phrases but has zero understanding of how these org changes actually will work. Oh -- good luck Circana keeping employees when you don't provide even the basic cost of living increases.
