Pros
I loved this company from many years and saw myself almost retiring here. Ok salary, many opportunities to up-skill. Performance talks and yearly goal setting has improved a lot from last 2 years(or may be its my manager who joined around that time) in either case its best. Every one is generally polite. Engineers are all curious and willing to learn and grow.
Cons
Sad to say this but I don’t like this company any more. The culture has changed so much in last one year or so. Everything looks political and mean and everyone just wants to make you work so they can take credit. Most of my team members have left and including my manager who has been holding everything together. Management looks so disconnected with reality as what VP says and what’s been conveyed to us by interim/senior manager are two opposite things. Grapevine culture at its best. Speaking up upwards seems scary due to growing distrust and fear of being a victim of retaliation. Our VP says “everyone is replaceable” , which I can see when so many people left the organisation but it definitely is not something positive to say.
