Pros
Prestigious brand name. Excellent work-life balance. Compensation in the higher range, compared to peer banks. High job security. Strong cross-functional learning opportunities beyond one's business line.
Cons
Limited number of business lines — although roles are predominantly back office, some teams operate with middle-office-like exposure. Strong learning opportunities can enable a later transition into front-office-adjacent roles, primarily outside Poland. Such moves are challenging and infrequent, but do occur. Limited advancement and mobility — promotions are relatively scarce and, when they occur, tend to favor local candidates. Senior management roles in Poland lack international representation. Relocations to London or the U.S. are extremely rare and, in practice, close to impossible.
