Pros

Decent, fixed weekly pay plus Quarterly Bonus based on performance. Provided great help during Coronavirus Pandemic like paying employees for 40 hours when employees worked around 20 hours weekly + $250.00 biweekly for a 2 month period. Diverse place to work at. You will meet great people.

Cons

Sometimes it seems they do not pay full attention in who they're hiring. Some people seem to be bad fits to work in certain positions right from the start but they still get hired or promoted to those positions. Promotions are very political, if you do not connect in a certain way with the regional, despite having a brilliant work history and connection with your current Branch Manager - you will not be promoted. Over all culture seems to be decreasing by a lot and sales pressure is increasing. Many managers are known to do things that would get anyone else fired but they still get away with it. Lack of communication and transparency from management is also very frustrating. Whenever there is a structural change ahead, many managers seem to not know exactly what's happening. Technology to help customers is very behind compared to bigger banks. Technology for customers (online banking) is also cumbersome and very behind compared to other banks. Citizens Bank sales more things to customers who are in already good shape than help customers who are in bad shape. I wish we could help more people who really need the bank's help to build credit. Referred some friends to work there and was disappointed in how they feel they were thrown to the sharks and have no support in their roles. Lots of them have quit before a year's mark.

Pros

The pros are the benefits, the pay could be higher for all that you learn and have to go through for ten weeks. They offer tuition assistance and opportunity for upskilling and advancing in such little time and the remote flexibility is great too

Cons

Management sucks and of course they have their favorites and then they have the people they target like myself. They micromanage bad and are quick to give you an occurrence for nothing. Their systems are so slow and then they blame you for being five ten minutes late logging in. They want you to tell them when you get up to breathe, go to the bathroom and they push for you to take calls and know boatloads of info after on 3 weeks of training. What they don’t know is that I will sue for any wrong doings or discrimination and I keep records of everything
