Pros
There is step pay raises, ( you work so many hours you get a pay raise), but you start at a pretty good rate. Some of the people working are great. Customers are mostly kind and appreciative. As an employee, you get a 10% discount on Kroger items, healthcare ( a few months in). Refresher training every year.
Cons
Management is difficult to work with, as in they don't listen to the employees that work in the department, but get angry if things turn out bad. Lots of drama between employees. Schedule is never consistent unless you are higher up on seniority. Constantly getting write ups for uncontrollable overtime. Recently there have been suspensions for speaking your mind ( management claims it's a bad attitude). Management doesn't have your back with customers who are difficult. You can't have a decent social life in this position.
