Pros
Overall Multiplan is a decent company. Management is clear in what they expect. There have been many acquisitions that create more opportunity. Summer hours are from memorial day to labor day and include a 6 hour Friday work day (pay for 8 hours). The people are as all companies...you get good and bad. Avoid the negative people and it will be a pleasant experience. They operate on different platforms depending on which location you work at - ie New York is different than Naperville. Once you learn why, it makes sense and the system used are really good for the insurance (health) industry. They have a huge network of providers that is accessed by some of the largest insurance companies in the US.
Cons
Not too many complaints. I feel I was treated well during my 14 years. The workload in some areas has declined sharply over the last couple years, primarily in Naperville. Aside from that - good employees are treated decent but bad employees receive waaaaaay too much leeway.
