Pros
Committed teachers, strong community support. Currently undergoing massive shift from central admin to site based decision teams. Low starting pay but bonuses in place for very tough schools of which is basically all of them. No income tax in Nevada means you keep more of your paycheck.
Cons
Health insurance is terrible and on the verge of collapse (again). Only school district in city, so no competition for talent means you take what they offer you. Good news: they are desperate for bodies to fill positions. Bad news: classroom management will be your main focus instead of teaching content. Many schools are just completely out of control. Most of the neighborhoods you will be able to afford to live in are just plain dangerous.
