Pros

My overall experience with Clozd was great. I thoroughly enjoyed working with my colleagues, who were always supportive. Clozd has a great product. Once you dive into its extensive features, it practically sells itself. The operations team deserves credit for developing a comprehensive certification program, ensuring the reps' full readiness for sales calls. This program instilled confidence and provided the necessary tools to effectively showcase Clozd's value proposition.

Cons

It seems like the leaders were always unsure of themselves. They're consistently having to make changes, and it never seemed like they could find a sweet spot. Aside from operations doing their part in creating a comprehensive certification program, sales leadership failed at providing actionable training to help assist in understanding more in-depth the sales process and sales methodology. In my opinion, leadership also played favorites. Focusing on building genuine rapport with all team members rather than forming preferred relationships would foster a more inclusive and cohesive environment.

Pros

Great team, fun culture, and very engaging work. You are directly contributing to client strategy and get to work directly with c-level contacts regularly with some of your customers

Cons

Complex role with a lot of moving parts. Like many CSM jobs it can be hard to influence outcomes with some difficult clients

Pros

They hire amazing people. I met the best and brightest people and worked alongside them.

Cons

The program management role at Clozd is incredibly challenging. The team's leadership is a significant pain point. The department is led by a micromanager whose approach relies more on fear than on building others up. While he is a genuinely wonderful person on a personal level, his lack of trust in his employees severely limits his ability to recognize and develop the greatness within his team. Also, the way the leadership handles employee transitions is highly concerning. Once an employee has run their course or decides to move on, they are treated like dead weight or outcasts. This lack of respect, combined with heavy workloads, high stress, and constant uncontrollable variables, has resulted in severe team burnout. The team's morale is significantly affected by the poor treatment of departing colleagues.
