Regular pay and some reasonable staff benefits

Cons

Low contacted hours but expectation to work lots of shifts. Very unsociable hours Incredibly physical work having to deal with online ordering systems

Thank you for your review and feedback. We're pleased that you were happy with your pay and your benefits, such as the 30% colleague member discount. As a convenience retailer we do all we can to provide options for our customers to shop however and whenever they need us. This can mean working hours are varied in our stores. We hope you raised your concerns with your manager while you were with us so that they could explore ways in which to support you.

Pros

Team got on well, hours weren't particularly harsh (pay not particularly impressive either)

Cons

Overworked due to corporate ruthlessly cutting hours (while hiring more staff?), generally piling on more and more work to the store team without considering time constraints, absolutely no opportunity for advancement while a store manager is already there
