Pros

None worth noting. It says a lot that co-workers/managers that I’ve respected have left in quick succession.

Cons

Where to start…..unrealistic, borderline insane, expectations for constantly working overtime even when work load at a department level is light. Yes, I’m confused by the logic of that too! You will be penalized for using your (very limited) paid time off as all management cares about are billable hours and utilization rates. There are too many people pushing to become management and it shows that management positions are awarded based on personal relationships/company loyalty rather than any skill in management. I’m constantly in awe at how so many incompetent people are in charge here. The company “core values” are nothing more than a PR move to post on Linkedin. The culture is nonexistent because anything that would improve company morale/colleague relationships is not billable and therefore not valued, unless of course it’s on your own time off the clock. No opportunities for growth or creativity, just cookie-cutter projects on constant repeat as that’s where they see the biggest opportunity for profit. Pay isn’t competitive within the industry either.

Pros

Flexible schedule & ability to work remote or hybrid

Cons

The company does not communicate effectively among all staff. Upper management treats as-needed staff like they are trash and they don't take time to understand the discipline that they are in charge of. When the department is understaffed, the employees are told to just "work harder" instead of hiring more people. They interview people, make them believe they have a shot, then the managers ghosts them. Even though they label themselves as having "competitive" salaries, they pay less than some smaller companies. Large bonuses only go to managers after their staff does all the hard work. Regular staff gets small bonuses and baby raises each year. A lot of people resign after they refuse to do bigger raises because they can get hired for a lot more at other companies. Upper management also ignores all communication from regular staff. There are no repercussions to Upper management when there are HR complaints about them. Advancement in the company is super slow.
