Overly-structured and mindlessly "strategic" - Anonymous employee Collins & Associates Employee Review

My recruiting & onboarding process was very timely, I felt never in the dark about where myself & Collins stood in the hiring process. The team is very kind, and I was not micromanaged at all. My supervisor makes me feel empowered about the work I am doing.

No downsides to working at Collins.

Simply ask for FORMER employee references as follows: Ask for 4 from their Harbor Springs Office Ask for at least 8 from their insurance division in Grand Rapids Ask for at least 5 from their loss prevention division in GR They check your references so why shouldn't you check theirs?? If you do not receive all of the above and contact them. WALK AWAY!

Owners are selfish, spend more than they have (on themselves not on employees), owners do not take care of their employees (except maybe 2-3), owners will promise you things and string you along that never come to fruition, the President has a hot temper and leads out of fear. Very degrading and condescending to employees.
