Pros

I loved how close I got to my co-workers and management. We really care about each other and management does too. They are very flexible with your schedule and understand life happens, I saw some abuse the privilege and that's when it became an issue. Management team is passionate about their clients and their employees, if you work towards the greater good of the company and it's customers you'll fit right in!!

Cons

There's always that one (or 2) dramatic co-workers, which happens everywhere. There were a couple in particular that made it their job to be in everyone's business and make sure to tattle on you if there was an opportunity. Thankfully those individuals never lasted long!

Pros

My recruiting & onboarding process was very timely, I felt never in the dark about where myself & Collins stood in the hiring process. The team is very kind, and I was not micromanaged at all. My supervisor makes me feel empowered about the work I am doing.

Cons

No downsides to working at Collins.

Pros

None. Simply ask for FORMER employee references as follows: Ask for 4 from their Harbor Springs Office Ask for at least 8 from their insurance division in Grand Rapids Ask for at least 5 from their loss prevention division in GR They check your references so why shouldn't you check theirs?? If you do not receive all of the above and contact them. WALK AWAY!

Cons

Owners are selfish, spend more than they have (on themselves not on employees), owners do not take care of their employees (except maybe 2-3), owners will promise you things and string you along that never come to fruition, the President has a hot temper and leads out of fear. Very degrading and condescending to employees.
