I should have turned around when I walked in; the two receptionists were bickering about who should answer a phone call. (That should of told you something right up front), I interview with one of the clinical managers who seemed very nice at the time, since I just got to Colorado, I thought this might be a good starting point, so I took the job, pay seemed a little low but I just got to town. I came in for the orientation, things ran smooth but it was very long and boring, you got to meet some of the key people in the company, CEO, managers, and directors from other divisions. We went to lunch, and coming back I passed the CEO, and stated good afternoon she looked at me like I had the plaque and turn her nose up to me, and did even say a word. (Should have walked again but did not) The next morning I came into the office it was like walking into a freezer, a few people said good morning, but most did not even acknowledged I was there. Went to go see my manager to find out what I needed to be doing, the chaos was just being. I talked to my manager and she had me sit outside her office for a good hour while she was trying to find someone to go out on a visit because someone had enough of this mentality and gave notice. After that she was stating how that employee was not fit to be a nurse, and should have their license revoked. She then asked me to come back in two days because she could find any work for me to do, but I could watch videos on a learning website they have. She took me to a computer and was upset because IT has not got a log on for me yet. While sitting there watching these videos, the office staff that I heard walking around did not have anything good to say about where they work and their EMR system, you also heard managers talking about how bad things were there. I did make it till lunch, and then I went back to my manager and said I could not work here anymore, and she said she understood, and wished she could leave also.
