Pros

International teams are smart, hard working and great people. Good company name to have on CV. The company culture outside Reston is great. One of the reasons you would think twice about leaving the company.

Cons

Where do you start? Low pay and no transparency on pay scales, promotion or bonus. No knowledge sharing, everyone is protective of the information. Often you feel under-valued and under-paid. Not great work ethic. Working day starts at 10am for most people, especially in Reston. Unless you are in the inner cirlce of senior management, you really do not matter. They boast about the free snacks as if that's a good enough reason to consider a company for employment. Staff retention is not a priority for anyone. Often you are treated as a commodity, if you don't matter to the 'bottom line' be prepared for redundancy with non-existent redundancy package. Often the best people are let go and those who pretend to work, continue to be employed there.

Pros

1. So-called un-limited time-off but never taken into consideration it all depends on how badly they need you, so if you are in a position critical then you have some good time off. 2. They "MIGHT" help you when you need emotional support, but this is not permanent changes with policy. 3. Summer hours availability.

Cons

1. Doesn't match industry level compensation. 2. Communication from the higher ups are always confusing and no clear goals provided. If there is something wrong with the communication between the higher ups you are always responsible even for that. 3. No stock options as they want the flexibility to fire you at anytime. 4. No severance provided until they know you can sue them back. 5. Look out for their quarterly meetings, if they are not doing good in Revenue, then expect layoffs within next few weeks. 6. They always tend to put the blame on lower level employees, when there is a escalation even when its not your fault. Prepare for getting fired if you are especially under a senior who has been with comscore for long + your team have good resource bandwidth.
