Pros

- Work life balance was decent most of the time. - Occasional tickets to a Bon Jovi concert, UFC fight, Joe Rogan show or some other entertainment that drives people wild in Tampa.

Cons

The following is based off the product team I worked on and may not be indicative of the culture within other departments: - Mass exodus of engineering talent left a mess of poorly documented applications and microservices. - Codebase seemed like a resume playground. Let's use shiny new toy to build x, not document it and make it a critical part of our distributed authentication system. - Offshore engineers wrote low quality code that required eagle eyed review. The talented offshore devs seemed to be massively outnumbered by the career copy and pasters. - Bureaucratic nightmare to get basic AWS IAM permission in order to complete tasks. - Little to no oversight from management. This may be a plus to some people. - C-suite was weirdly out of touch. Is the most expensive commercial real estate in Tampa the best use of money when you have nearly 100% attrition amongst your engineers because you won't pay market rates?

I fear you left too soon. We're doing so much work with our products and we're investing heavily in making the experience for our partners (customers) an extraordinary one. Everything from adding top-notch general managers, to really focusing on the development of our colleagues. I get the perspective on our new space- we are a company that invests in the community. As a remote-first company, we needed about a third of our traditional space, allowing us to move to a more central location in the city and reduce our overall footprint. We wish you luck in your next adventure!

Pros

You get right into cyber sales and b2b. Good start and resume builder. But a stepping stone.

Cons

Huge non compete so most of the market is off limits. Although there is zero holding them back from hiring from the laid off group of their own competitors. Which points to how little they actually trainer you at any level. They are ran by sales managers not leaders. RSM side is hit or miss CRO burned half the sales floor, 50% turn over. Hired all the laid off kaseya reps and then quit Research the team you are looking to work on, reach out to reps and don’t get sold. Most new reps are getting paid significantly more than existing reps. They will low ball all internal reps into low earning positions and keep moving goal posts. One rep could be at 70/30 while the new person they train/ mentor is at 90/90.
