Pros

Most employees care about our customers - the people who use our products and come to depend on them to run their businesses successfully. Houston office is very informal and employee-focused - designed to make everyone feel included and needed. Historically, a great place to work.

Cons

ConstructConnect is an integration of 8-9 smaller companies, each successful on their own and often competitors with each other. Now we are all being "forced" to forge new paths, which is a good thing, however, there seems to be a lot of politics involved with decision-making (which is true for any company). There is a lot of uncertainty for employees outside the main office (Cincinnati) who have devoted their careers to their company's and customers' success, only to be left out or left behind. The corporate office seems to be trying to force employees to be happy - that's not how it's done. Either the culture and environment is inclusive and welcoming or it is not. Corporate office seems somewhat "heavy handed" - instead of analyzing how the other companies do things, they dictate their policies and solutions - sometimes they are not the most efficient or best solutions. Company doesn't "believe in" peer evaluations or performance reviews. If you aren't living up to expectations, you are put on a Performance Improvement Plan - that's a definition of the opposite of good leadership.

Pros

Forward thinking leadership with a clear AI and technology vision. State-of-the-art agentic development tools and engineering practices Strong investment in employee learning and AI enablement Faster innovation and significantly shorter delivery cycles Empowered teams with increasing end-to-end ownership A culture that encourages curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement An opportunity to help shape the future of the construction technology industry

Cons

The pace of transformation is fast, and expectations are high. Employees who prefer traditional processes or highly structured, slower-moving environments may find the transition challenging.

Pros

I actually waited until after the latest QBR before writing this review because I wanted to see if all the time and effort being put into AI would make a real difference. It was great to see the results starting to show. It's exciting to be part of a company that's willing to invest in the future instead of waiting for everyone else to figure it out first. I had a great experience working at ConstructConnect. One thing that really stood out was how seriously the company invested in AI. Instead of just talking about it, leadership rolled out three waves of AI training across the company and encouraged everyone to learn and actually use AI in their day-to-day work. It wasn't just for engineering either. Teams across the business got involved. The CEO and CTO deserve a lot of credit for driving this. They created a culture where trying new ideas was encouraged, and people were given the tools and support to make AI part of how they work instead of treating it like another corporate initiative. Overall, great people, supportive leadership, and a company that's always looking for ways to improve.

Cons

Nothing that stands out. My experience was overwhelmingly positive, and I appreciated the company's willingness to embrace change and innovation.
